Second meeting of Action for Children and Families of Prisoners

The second meeting of the Action for Children and Families of Prisoners network took place on 14th December.

Following an update to members on activities since the previous network meeting, Governor Peter O’Brien of Cork Prison addressed the Network on ‘Christmas, Families, Covid-19 & Prison Visits’. Membership had an opportunity to engage on the prevailing situation for families with family members in prison.

The Network also discussed stakeholder mapping and recommendations related to updating the “Picking up the Pieces” report.
